UPL, Godrej, and Other Leading Companies: Essential Stocks to Consider for Purchase

Nuvama has reaffirmed its buy rating on UPL, raising the target price to Rs 823 from Rs 808, following the company’s impressive performance in the July-September quarter (Q2FY26). Analysts noted a significant 10% volume growth and an improved outlook for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA). Meanwhile, Citigroup has also maintained a buy rating on Apollo Hospitals, setting a target price of Rs 9,330, while Goldman Sachs has adjusted its target for Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals to Rs 330. Elara has reduced its rating on Alkyl Amines, and Jefferies has a buy rating on Godrej Properties, anticipating strong pre-sales in the upcoming quarter.

UPL’s Strong Performance

UPL has shown remarkable growth in its latest quarterly results, prompting Nuvama to increase its target price for the stock. The company reported a 10% increase in volume during Q2FY26, which analysts attribute to improved operational efficiency and a favorable market environment. The easing of inventory overhang has also contributed to a more optimistic outlook for the company. UPL Corp and Advanta have been pivotal in driving this growth, showcasing the strength of their business models. Analysts believe that UPL is well-positioned to outpace industry growth, reflecting confidence in its future performance.

Apollo Hospitals Maintains Momentum

Citigroup has reaffirmed its buy rating for Apollo Hospitals, setting a target price of Rs 9,330. The company’s Q2FY26 results met expectations, with HealthCo demonstrating significant margin expansion. However, the hospital segment experienced a slight year-on-year margin contraction due to a high base effect. Despite this, analysts remain optimistic about Apollo’s overall performance, highlighting its resilience in a competitive healthcare market. The company’s ability to maintain strong margins in its HealthCo division is seen as a positive indicator for future growth.

Crompton Greaves Faces Challenges

Goldman Sachs has maintained its buy rating on Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals but has slightly lowered its target price to Rs 330. The company reported a modest 1% year-on-year revenue growth in Q2FY26, but its EBITDA fell short of estimates by 18%. The decline in margins to 8.3% raised concerns, particularly due to weak sales in the electrical consumer durables segment. Despite these challenges, Crompton Greaves has secured two significant rooftop solar orders worth Rs 500 crore, marking its entry into a new growth area. Analysts believe that the stock remains an attractive option among consumer durable stocks.

Alkyl Amines and Godrej Properties Outlook

Elara has downgraded its rating on Alkyl Amines, reducing the target price to Rs 1,825 amid concerns over weak demand and increased competition. The company reported only marginal volume growth in the first half of FY26 and provided subdued guidance for the future. In contrast, Jefferies has a buy rating on Godrej Properties, with a target price of Rs 3,000. Analysts noted strong pre-sales in Q2FY26, suggesting that the company is likely to exceed its sales guidance. With expectations of improved cash flow in the second half of FY26, Godrej Properties is seen as a solid investment opportunity.
