Aditya Narayan’s Early Earnings
In a candid discussion on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, Aditya Narayan recounted his experiences as a young host on the singing reality show *Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007*. He explained that he underwent three rounds of auditions before securing the hosting role, which paid him Rs. 7,500 per episode. With two episodes filmed each day, he earned Rs. 15,000 daily. At just 18 years old and living with his father, Narayan found himself with a disposable income of Rs. 75,000 a month, a significant amount for someone his age.
During the season, he completed around 52 episodes, accumulating approximately Rs. 8 lakhs in total earnings. This sudden influx of money altered his mindset, prompting him to reflect on his spending habits. Comedian Bharti Singh humorously noted that Narayan would likely not accept such a fee for a single episode today, which elicited laughter from the audience. As his career progressed, his pay increased to Rs. 25,000 per episode in the following season, leading him to consider saving for the future. Notably, he recalled paying his first tax at the age of seven, although he couldn’t remember if he had a PAN card at the time.
His Biggest Payday as a Child Actor
Aditya Narayan highlighted that his highest earnings as a child actor came from his role in the film *Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai*, where he starred alongside Salman Khan. The production house, Tips, compensated him with Rs. 3.5 lakhs for his performance, a considerable amount for a child actor during that period.
