Why LatentView Analytics IPO has attracted record attention

As of 12 November, the LatentView Analytics IPO is subscribed 326.49 times. The public issue subscribed to 119.44 times in the retail category, 145.48 times in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category, and 882 times in the Non-Institutional Investors (NIB) category.

The LatentView Analytics IPO received bids for a staggering 572 crore shares against the issue size of 1.75 crore shares, exchange data showed. The institutional investor category received bids for 136 crore shares, and the book was subscribed 151 times. The non-institutional category comprising high net worth individuals was subscribed 882 times. Demand from retail investors stood at 124 times.

As per the market observers, Latent view Analytics shares are available at a premium of 350 in the grey market.

The listing of shares of Latent View Analytics is likely to take place on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, on both the NSE and BSE.

Individuals, institutional, Non-Institutional Investors, and employees can apply of minimum 1 lot and a maximum of 13 lots. Each lot consists of 76 shares. Each share has a face value of ₹1 per equity share and the IPO price is in the range of 190 – 197 per equity share. The IPO has an issue size aggregating up to Rs 600 crore. Out of the total, the fresh issue amounts to Rs 474 crore. It has an offer for sale up to Rs 126 crore.

LatentView Analytics IPO opened on 10 November 2021, and the closing date is 12 November 2021. Allot status of the participant is confirmed on 17 November and refunds, if unsuccessful, would be initiated on 18 November. The credit of share to the individual Demat account would be reflected on 22 November.

Axis Capital, ICICI Securities and Haitong Securities India are the book running lead managers to the IPO.

Why LatentView Analytics attracted record attention?

“Investors expect the company to get listed at a good premium to the IPO prices next week. It’s quoting around Rs 350 in the unofficial grey market. The recent bumper listing of Nykaa shows the investor frenzy in IPOs, which can offer good money to investors on listing,” said veteran stock dealer Pawan Dharnidharka.

Zomato’s issue was oversubscribed by more than 38 times and Nykaa’s issue was oversubscribed by nearly 82 times.
