Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Launch Details

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series made its global debut on January 22, 2025, during the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event. This launch was significant for both global and Indian markets. Initially, Samsung revealed only the pricing and availability for the 256GB and 512GB models of the base Galaxy S25. However, new reports indicate that a 128GB variant will also be available, making the device more accessible to a wider range of consumers. This article delves into the details surrounding the new variant, its specifications, and what it means for potential buyers.
Samsung Galaxy S25 128GB Variant
According to retail sources cited by 91Mobiles Hindi, the Samsung Galaxy S25 128GB model will be priced at Rs. 74,999 in India. This price point mirrors that of the Galaxy S24, which was launched last year with similar storage options. While pre-bookings for the device have not yet started, there is speculation that this model could be available for purchase in the near future.
However, there are concerns regarding the availability of the 128GB variant. Currently, it is not listed on the official Samsung India website, which raises questions about how and where consumers can purchase it. Reports suggest that this model may primarily be sold through retail stores and offline channels, rather than online. In contrast, the Galaxy S25 is already available in the same configuration in the United States and other markets, priced at $799, which is approximately Rs. 69,100.
Initially, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 in India with two higher storage options: 256GB priced at Rs. 80,999 and 512GB at Rs. 92,999. The device comes in various color options, including Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow. Additionally, exclusive colorways such as Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold are available only through the Samsung online store. This variety in color and storage options aims to cater to diverse consumer preferences.
