On 25 August 2023 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met with Professor Dimitrios Vassiliadis, Indologist and Professor of Sanskrit and Hindi at the University of Athens, together with Dr. Apostolos Michailidis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Theology, University of Athens.
They briefed the Prime Minister on their work on Indian religions, philosophy and culture.
Discussions focused on the potential to deepen academic collaboration between Indian and Greek universities and ways to further strengthen India-Greece cultural relations.
