The President’s Medal for Gallantry and the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, as well as the Medal of Gallantry and Meritorious Service Medals are presented annually to Fire, Civil Defense, and Home Guard personnel on Memorial Day. Republic and independence day.
On Independence Day, 2023, 53 staff members were awarded Firefighter Medals.
Of these, the President’s Fire Service Medal for Gallantry is awarded to 03 personnel and the Fire Service Medal for Gallantry is awarded to 01 personnel for their respective acts of valor and gallantry.
The President’s Fire Service Medal for Distinguished Service is awarded to 8 personnel and the Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service is awarded to 41 personnel for their respective distinguished and deserving service records.
In addition, on Independence Day, 2023, 48 staff/volunteers are also awarded the Home Guard and Civil Defense medals.
Of these, the President’s Home Guards and Civil Defense Distinguished Service Medal and the Home Guards and Civil Defense Meritorious Service Medal are awarded to 05 staff/volunteers and 43 staff/volunteers, respectively.
