Ministry of Civil Aviation Celebrates Independence Day with Tiranga Rally
The Ministry of Civil Aviation marked a significant occasion today by organizing a vibrant Tiranga Rally as part of the Independence Day celebrations, aligned with the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026. Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, officially flagged off the rally, joined by Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Shri Murlidhar Mohol, along with key officials and staff from the Ministry.
The festivities began with an inaugural ceremony featuring the unveiling of a Digital Video Wall by Shri Naidu and Shri Mohol. The event kicked off with the powerful rendition of “Vande Mataram,” performed by dignitaries and participants, setting an uplifting tone for the rally.
Unifying Spirit of the Tiranga Rally
Following the initial celebrations, the Tiranga Rally commenced with Union Minister Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu leading the way. A robust contingent comprising officers and staff from the Ministry, along with personnel from Attached and Subordinate Offices, Public Sector Undertakings, and Autonomous Bodies, participated in the rally. Each individual proudly carried the National Flag, symbolizing unity and national pride.
The procession journeyed from Udaan Bhawan to Aviation Park at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, where the leaders and participants united in celebration. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as the officers waved the Tricolour, demonstrating collective pride in the nation’s independence.
Culmination of the Rally
The rally concluded at Aviation Park with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, marking a fitting end to the day’s program. This event was part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, which encourages every citizen to display and engage with the National Flag, fostering a spirit of pride and unity across the country.
Prominent figures in attendance included Chairman of the AAI, Shri Vipin Kumar; Director General of DGCA, Shri Vir Vikram Yadav; Director General of AAIB, Shri G V G Yugandhar; Director General of BCAS, Shri Rajesh Nirwan; and Chairperson of AERA, Shri S K G Rahate, along with other senior officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
This Tiranga Rally not only commemorated India’s spirit of independence but also served as a reminder of the resilience and unity that characterizes this nation.
