Scene 1: Hospital Crisis and Wedding Dilemma
Bua Ji and Pratima were trying to convince Mangal to come to the wedding venue. “You need to come to the mandap and marry Kapil now,” Bua Ji insisted. Mangal stood firmly by her son’s hospital bed. “I can’t leave Akshat in this condition. How can I go anywhere when my son is like this?” she replied.
Chinta Bua fell down at Mangal’s feet and started begging. “Please come and marry Kapil. If you don’t, both our families will be humiliated in front of everyone,” she pleaded. Mangal looked at her son with worry. “Try to understand my situation. My son needs me right now,” she explained.
The doctor arrived to check on Akshat. After examining the boy, he gave him an injection and turned to Mangal. “Don’t worry, Akshat will be fine now,” he assured her. Watching this scene, Chinta Bua thought to herself that Mangal only cared about her own family and not about the wedding.
Suddenly, Akshat opened his eyes and everyone felt happy. With tears in his eyes, Akshat hugged his mother. “Are you okay, Mom? Are you safe?” he asked with concern. Mangal was confused by his questions. “Why are you asking that? I’m perfectly fine,” she said, stroking his hair. Akshat held her hand. “I was so worried you wouldn’t reach the wedding venue on time,” he admitted. Chinta Bua quickly signaled Akshat not to say anything more about what happened. She turned to Mangal with a smile. “See, Akshat is fine now. You should come and marry Kapil,” she urged.
Scene 2: The Truth Comes Out
Mangal looked at her son with concern. “Akshat, why did you go into that dangerous room with all the electrical equipment?” she asked. Akshat looked directly at Chinta Bua. “I didn’t go there by myself. Chinta Bua and Bijli locked me inside,” he revealed. Everyone gasped in shock. Chinta Bua quickly jumped in. “Stop lying, child! Why would I do such a thing?” she said defensively.
Akshat continued telling what happened. “I heard Chinta Bua planning to lock Mom in the beauty parlor so she wouldn’t reach the wedding. When she saw me listening, she locked me in the inverter room instead.” Kusum stepped forward to support the boy. “I saw Chinta Bua raise her hand to hit Akshat earlier. I believe he’s telling the truth,” she added. Chinta Bua kept denying everything. “This is all lies! I would never do such things!” she protested. Mangal asked Ishana to take Akshat to another room. “Take him inside so he can rest,” she said gently. Akshat didn’t want to go. “No, Mom, I want to stay with you,” he insisted, but Mangal convinced him to go rest. After Akshat left, Chinta Bua turned to Kapil with tears. “Please believe me. I have never hit any child in my life,” she claimed.
Scene 3: Confrontation and Failed Wedding
Mangal faced Chinta Bua with anger. “Why did you lock my son in that dangerous room?” she demanded. Chinta Bua pretended to be innocent. Kapil tried to calm everyone down. “This must be a misunderstanding. Chinta Bua would never do something like that,” he defended. Mangal shook her head. “Akshat is not lying. He’s telling the truth. I was locked in the parlor too, which proves this was all planned,” she explained. Kapil still defended his grandmother. “Chinta Dadi wants our marriage to happen. Why would she lock you in the parlor?” he asked. Mangal pointed to Kusum. “Kusum’s mother saw Chinta Bua trying to hit Akshat. If you still think Chinta Bua is right, then Kusum will leave too,” she warned. Chinta Bua started crying loudly while Kapil comforted her.
“Don’t blame Bua Dadi just because of what Akshat said,” Kapil told Mangal. Mangal stood her ground. “Kapil, you’re Akshat’s best friend. Akshat wants us to get married, so he would never lie about this. I trust my son completely,” she said firmly. Kapil nodded. “Just like you trust Akshat, I trust my Bua Dadi,” he replied. Mangal looked hurt. “Your Bua Dadi doesn’t want our marriage to happen. She doesn’t like me or my kids and wants to stop this wedding,” she said.
Chinta Bua defended herself. “I want this marriage to happen! Why else would I bring the wedding procession here?” she asked. Lipika spoke up from the side. “If that’s true, why did you force me to marry Kapil when Mangal didn’t arrive on time?” she questioned. Mangal turned to Kapil with surprise. “Bua Dadi sent me to the parlor and then tried to get you to marry Lipika instead. When Akshat overheard her plan, she locked him in that dangerous room. This is the truth,” she explained.
Kapil turned to his mother with confusion. “Pratima, did you know Bua Dadi asked Lipika to marry me?” he asked. Chinta Bua tried to explain. “I only asked Lipika to marry you to save our family’s reputation since the bride wasn’t at the mandap,” she claimed while crying. “I’m being blamed for no reason!” Pratima tried to make peace. “Whatever Bua Dadi did was for the family’s honor. We can discuss it later after the marriage,” she suggested. “Once you’re married, all problems will be solved because Mangal and her kids will come live with us. The children will stay with their grandparents.” Mangal looked shocked by this statement. She turned to Kapil with hurt in her eyes. “You promised me the kids would stay with us after marriage. What does this mean?” she asked.
