International Self-Care Day

Each Year on 24 July, International Self-Care Day (ISD) provides an opportunity to highlight healthy lifestyle self-care programs around the world. ISD is a device developed by the International Self-Care Foundation to promote self-care as a foundation for good health. Since 2011, ISD has been running. Individuals and groups are provided with a media-friendly platform and a focus for promoting self-care in their organizations or communities (independently).

Health stakeholders are invited to use International Self-Care Day responsibly to advance healthy lifestyles and wellness. It is ISF’s pleasure to provide support to groups and organizations wishing to conduct public health programs in accordance with these objectives. Those undertaking public health programs linked to ISD are requested to provide a summary report for future reference and potential deployment abroad.

In recent years, self-care has become increasingly important as people realize the importance of putting themselves first. People have talked about it and are more interested in taking control of their health and wellness by prioritizing themselves because of this.
