An “interactive conference and B2B session on the Indian Navy’s Indigenization Requirements: Opportunities for Industries‘ was conducted by the Indian Navy in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on 26 June 23 at Hari Shankar Singhania Commission Auditorium of FICCI, FICCI Federation House.
VA Adm Sandeep Naithani, Chief of Materiel was the keynote speaker of the conference and gave the keynote address.
The conference provided a unique opportunity for Industry / MPMI / Startup to interact with Indian Navy personnel and provided a platform for all stakeholders to collectively discuss the Indian Navy’s indigenization plans / final requirements to achieve self-sufficiency in the defense sector.
Dedicated B2B interaction between the Indian Navy and Industry/MSME/Startups was held and key Navy indigenization requirements were discussed under a ‘Focused Roundtable’.
The conference promoted indigenization in congruence with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ vision.
More than 100 industries / MSMEs / Startups attended the conference.
