Infinix Unveils Note 50 Pro+ 5G Globally

Infinix has officially launched the Note 50 Pro+ 5G, marking a significant addition to its smartphone lineup. This new device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip and features a stunning AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. As the third model in the Note 50 series, the Note 50 Pro+ 5G follows the earlier releases of the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro, which debuted in Indonesia. Infinix has also announced plans to introduce two more 5G models in the Note 50 series later this year.
Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G Price
The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G is priced starting at $370 (approximately Rs. 32,000) in the United States. It will be available globally in three color variants: Enchanted Purple, Titanium Grey, and a Special Racing Edition. The Special Racing Edition features a design inspired by racing cars, complete with tri-color stripes and a power button made from sapphire crystal. Alongside the Note 50 Pro+ 5G, Infinix also announced the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro, which are priced at $180 (around Rs. 15,000) and $210 (approximately Rs. 18,000), respectively. These models were launched in Indonesia earlier this month. Infinix plans to unveil two additional 5G smartphones in the Note 50 series later this year, expanding its offerings in the competitive smartphone market.

The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. The screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emissions, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. Additionally, it includes a Bio-Active Halo AI lighting system that provides multi-color mini-LED effects for notifications and calls. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip, which is complemented by a vapor chamber and graphite layer for effective thermal management. The smartphone also incorporates an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback. For photography enthusiasts, the Note 50 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 primary camera featuring optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens that offers 6x lossless zoom and 100x ultimate zoom capabilities. Additional features include JBL dual speakers, NFC support, and an infrared remote control. The device is built to withstand dust and water with an IP64 rating. Powering the device is a robust 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging, 10W wireless charging, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging. In PowerReserve mode, the battery can provide up to 2.2 hours of talk time with just 1% charge remaining.
Infinix AI∞ Beta Plan
The launch of the Infinix Note 50 series also introduces the “Infinix AI∞ Beta Plan,” which features the latest One-Tap Infinix AI ∞ functionality. This allows users to activate the AI assistant, Folax, by long-pressing the power button. Folax is designed to recognize on-screen content, translate text, and support cross-app voice commands for various tasks such as scheduling, navigation, and contact management. The AI assistant offers a range of features, including AI Eraser, AI Cutout, AI Writing, AI Note, and AI Wallpaper Generator. For communication, it includes tools like Real-Time Call Translator, Call Summary, AI Auto-Answer, and dual-way Speech Enhancement, enhancing the overall user experience.
