India’s Vision for AI: Launch of Fixit Agentic AI Platform
The Government of India is taking significant steps to establish the nation as a frontrunner in Artificial Intelligence (AI) by fostering indigenous capabilities. In a recent partnership, the Technology Development Board (TDB) of the Department of Science & Technology (DST) has collaborated with One2X Tech Pvt. Ltd., based in Delhi, to propel the commercialization of Fixit, an advanced Agentic AI platform designed in India. This initiative aims to transition enterprise AI from merely assisting users to empowering AI agents that can autonomously understand objectives, make decisions, and seamlessly execute actions across various business workflows.
Revolutionizing Enterprise AI
Agentic AI marks a significant evolution in artificial intelligence, enabling systems to comprehend objectives, interact with connected platforms, and actively pursue desired outcomes. Unlike traditional AI applications that primarily support users in tasks like searching, analyzing, or responding to queries, Agentic AI can directly engage in execution-oriented processes within businesses.
Fixit incorporates sophisticated technology layers, including multi-agent orchestration, contextual memory, AI reasoning, reinforcement learning, real-time decision-making, and secure tool execution. The platform is designed for specialized AI agents that can fetch relevant data, choose suitable actions, interact with enterprise systems, observe results, and adapt their approach based on outcomes. This architecture ensures that AI deployment remains controlled and auditable, featuring necessary safeguards and oversight.
Focus on Revenue Operations
Initially, One2X Tech will tailor the technology for revenue operations, where multiple specialized AI agents handle market intelligence, customer interactions, qualification, nurturing, follow-ups, appointment scheduling, sales handover, and revenue attribution. Rather than just logging business activities, the platform aims to predict and initiate the next best actions, fostering a continuous intelligence cycle that links customer interactions, AI responses, and business performance.
Wider Applications Beyond Real Estate
The company’s initial focus is on the real estate sector, characterized by prolonged buying cycles and numerous customer interactions, which necessitate ongoing engagement and structured execution. However, the versatility of the Agentic AI architecture suggests expansive applications across various industries that require streamlined automation of intricate, multi-step workflows.
One of the project’s central goals is to evolve the concept of an “AI workforce,” where specialized AI agents take on repetitive tasks, monitoring, analysis, and coordination. This allows human teams to focus on areas that demand creativity, judgment, and strategic thinking. Such advancements may empower startups, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and smaller businesses to harness operational capabilities that previously required larger teams and extensive technology resources.
Voices of Leadership
On this occasion, Shri Rajesh Kumar Pathak, Secretary of TDB, highlighted the importance of advancing India’s AI landscape. He remarked, “India’s AI journey must increasingly move from adoption to the creation and commercialization of indigenous AI technologies. Agentic AI represents an important evolution in this direction, with the potential to transform how enterprises operate and scale.”
Expressing appreciation for TDB’s support, the Founder and CEO of One2X Tech Pvt. Ltd. noted, “The internet gave businesses global reach, and cloud computing provided the necessary infrastructure. We believe Agentic AI could offer businesses capabilities that currently require entire teams. Our vision is for even small businesses to build their own AI workforce and function with the efficiency of larger organizations.”
