Among those commemorated were security staff and personnel from various forces, including Rajya Sabha Secretariat Security Assistants Jagdish Prasad Yadav and Matbar Singh Negi, and CRPF Constable Kamlesh Kumari, all of whom demonstrated extraordinary courage during the attack.
In acknowledgment of their bravery, Yadav, Negi, and Kumari were posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra, while others such as Delhi Police Assistant Sub-Inspectors Nanak Chand and Rampal, as well as Head Constables Om Prakash, Bijender Singh, and Ghanshyam, received the Kirti Chakra for their remarkable valor.
