He expressed confidence that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi‘s efforts and respect for national heroes would inspire the youth to understand their history and contribute to the nation’s bright future.
On this special day, the minister reiterated his admiration for the courage and determination of Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh. He reminded everyone that these young martyrs stood undeterred against the vast army of Aurangzeb, sacrificing their lives at the ages of just 6 and 9. In addition to honoring the martyrs, Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stone for a cultural center at the Kacharibari Puberuan Sangha in Dibrugarh. This center, funded through the MP Local Area Development Scheme, is envisioned as a significant hub for cultural and artistic excellence in the region.
