Henry Way Kendall (December 9, 1926 โ€“ February 15, 1999) was an American physicist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. Henry Way Kendall was born on December 9, 1926, in Boston, Massachusetts. Henry Kendall attended Amherst College in Massachusetts, where he earned his bachelorโ€™s degree in 1950.
