District Legal Services Authority West Tripura organizes Door-to-Door Legal Aid Campaign

Under the leadership of Nyaya Bandhu of the Department of Justice, Pro Bono Club, ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University, Tripura, in association with District Authority for Legal Services West Tripura, organized a door-to-door legal aid campaign to the West Kamalghat village where Pro Bono Club members interacted with villagers.

The main initiative of Nyaya Bandhu (Pro Bono Legal Services) is to establish a framework for the delivery of pro bono legal services across the country. Under Nyaya Bandhu, practicing lawyers, interested in volunteering their time and services, are connected, via mobile technology, with eligible marginalized beneficiaries. The Nyaya Bandhu Mobile application (Android/IOS) has also been developed and integrated on the UMANG platform in collaboration with the technical partner CSC e-Governance Pvt. srl.
