Scene 1: Rishi’s Disbelief
The episode begins with a somber scene as Rishi stands, staring at a lifeless body. His face is tense, and his hands tremble as he looks at the police, telling them firmly, “This is not Lakshmi.” The body before him is unrecognizable, a result of being in the water for too long. The police inspector, examining the body, explains the situation. He tells Rishi that due to the prolonged exposure in the water, the body has become so damaged that it’s impossible to identify by sight.
The inspector then asks Rishi to look at the clothes of the body to help with the identification. However, Rishi shakes his head, rejecting the suggestion. “I know my wife. This is not Lakshmi,” Rishi says with conviction. His eyes are filled with pain and determination. He refuses to believe that Lakshmi could be dead. “I will find her. She’s still out there,” Rishi insists, his voice trembling with emotion. Rishi, overwhelmed with the need to find Lakshmi, turns to leave. Ayush, who has been quietly standing by, decides to follow Rishi, not wanting to let him go alone in such a fragile state. Rishi walks away, ignoring the police’s attempts to stop him, and Ayush follows closely behind.
Scene 2: Malishka’s Pretension
Back at the Oberoi household, Malishka enters the scene with a somber expression. She pretends to be deeply concerned about Lakshmi, expressing her sympathy for the situation. Malishka goes to Rano and apologizes for what has happened, offering comforting words. However, Rano, visibly upset, blames Malishka for everything that has happened to Lakshmi. Malishka, not backing down, tries to calm Rano, but her words fall flat. She feigns sympathy, but her true intentions are clear as she quickly moves on to the next part of her plan. She remarks to Rano, “I am so sorry for what has happened to Lakshmi, but we must think about the future now.” Rano, furious with her, glares at Malishka but doesn’t say much.
Meanwhile, Neelam and the rest of the Oberoi family gather in the living room, worried about Rishi’s whereabouts and well-being. They have heard about the body, and the uncertainty is taking a toll on everyone. Malishka leaves the house, heading out with an air of confidence. Scene 3: Rano and Shalu Arrive at the Oberoi Mansion

Rano, growing impatient, overhears their conversation and bangs loudly on the door, demanding that it be opened. Her voice is harsh as she makes more comments about the family, criticizing them. She calls out, “Open the door! I have every right to come in!” Neelam, unable to ignore the noise any longer, finally opens the door in frustration.
Rano and Shalu step inside, with Rano immediately making it clear that she is there to take Parvati away from the Oberoi family. She says with authority, “I’ve come to take Parvati back with us.” Neelam, without hesitation, responds firmly, “No. Parvati will not leave this house.” Shalu pleads with Neelam, trying to soften her stance. “Please, Neelam, we just want to take her. We’ll leave right after that.” But Neelam, unwavering in her decision, rejects the request outright. “Parvati will stay here with us,” Neelam says, her voice strong and resolute. In a swift motion, Aanchal steps forward, pushing Neelam aside, and closes the door on Rano and Shalu’s faces. Rano, furious and unable to accept the refusal, warns the Oberoi family, “I will return with the police to take Parvati away.” She shouts angrily, making several more remarks about the family. Her words are sharp and filled with bitterness.
Neelam, unable to tolerate Rano’s rudeness, opens the door once again, but by that time, Rano and Shalu have already left. Neelam watches them walk away, her anger evident on her face. She slams the door shut, frustrated with the turn of events.
Scene 4: Rishi Searches for Lakshmi
Elsewhere, Rishi is on a mission. He is walking around, showing people a photo of Lakshmi and asking if they have seen her. He seems desperate to find any information about her whereabouts. His determination is clear, as he continues to ask around, hoping for a clue. He is not ready to accept that the body might belong to his wife. As Rishi walks, a constable, noticing his frantic search, asks Ayush, “Is the body they found your wife, Lakshmi?” Ayush, looking concerned, shakes his head. “No, Rishi says it’s not her,” Ayush responds. The constable, trying to reassure Rishi, suggests that he should check the belongings of the body to confirm. However, Rishi refuses to believe it. “No, I would have felt it if it were Lakshmi,” Rishi says, his voice filled with certainty.
The constable insists that the body may be unrecognizable but still urges Rishi to check. Rishi, now furious with the officer, grabs him by the collar, demanding that he stop making assumptions. The situation escalates quickly, and the constable, in an effort to free himself, shoves Rishi away. Rishi loses his balance and crashes into a pillar, injuring his head in the process. Ayush, shocked by what just happened, rushes to Rishi’s side. He quickly checks to see if Rishi is okay. Rishi is dizzy from the impact, and Ayush, worried for his friend, decides to take him to the hospital immediately. Ayush helps Rishi to his feet and leads him away, making sure he gets the medical attention he needs.
Scene 5: Malishka’s Return
Later, Malishka returns to the Oberoi mansion. She walks in with a carefully composed expression, pretending to be sad. She tells Neelam and the rest of the family that she believes the body found by the police belongs to Lakshmi. Neelam, looking concerned and worried, listens to Malishka’s words. “What will Rishi, Harleen, and especially Parvati think about this?” Neelam wonders aloud. The tension in the room is palpable. Malishka, sensing Neelam’s worry, tries to assure her. “Don’t worry, Neelam. I will take full responsibility for everything. I’ll handle this situation and make sure no one else is affected.” Malishka says this with a reassuring tone, though there is a hidden smugness in her voice. She exits the room, confident that things are going according to her plan.
In the privacy of her room, Malishka celebrates silently. She believes everything is going just as she had hoped. She reflects on how this situation is playing out perfectly for her, and now she must prove herself as the best mother. Malishka sets an alarm for the morning, ready to continue her schemes, and goes to sleep, satisfied with the current state of affairs.
Scene 6: Rishi Returns Home
Ayush finally brings Rishi back to the Oberoi mansion. When Neelam sees the bandage on Rishi’s head, she becomes deeply concerned. She rushes to him and asks, “What happened, Rishi?” Rishi, still disoriented and struggling with the pain from the injury, looks at Neelam and weakly says, “I want Lakshmi… Please bring her back to me.” His words are filled with desperation, his voice shaky from the emotional and physical toll.
Ayush steps in, explaining the situation. “Rishi was injured while dealing with the police. The doctor gave him an injection, and that’s why he’s feeling drowsy now.” Ayush helps Rishi sit down, trying to calm Neelam. Rishi’s exhaustion is clear, but his mind is still on Lakshmi, as he keeps repeating that he wants to see her again. Neelam holds Rishi’s hand, her worry growing, knowing the toll this situation is taking on her son.
