Scene 1: Lakshmi’s Despair
The episode begins with Lakshmi walking down a lonely road, her eyes blank and distant, as though life has lost all meaning. She drifts aimlessly, each step heavier than the last. Her face reflects the weight of her thoughts, haunted by Rishi’s confession and the betrayal she’s experienced. A worried old woman, walking with her granddaughter, notices Lakshmi’s distress. The little girl pulls at her grandmother’s sleeve, urging her to look at the woman. The old woman, sensing something is terribly wrong, watches as Lakshmi stumbles forward. The granddaughter, frightened, calls out, “Look, Grandma, she’s not well!” The old woman closes her eyes, sensing the hopelessness in Lakshmi’s demeanor, but does nothing to stop her.
Meanwhile, Rishi and Shalu are at the temple, frantically searching for Lakshmi. They ask the temple staff and people around, but no one has seen her. Shalu, frustrated and unable to understand what’s happening, accuses Rishi, “Why did you come back into Lakshmi’s life like a grahan (eclipse)? You only brought darkness and pain to her!” Rishi, his face filled with guilt, tries to explain himself, but words fail him. He knows he’s responsible for her pain, but he doesn’t know how to fix it. His desperation grows as he wonders if it’s already too late.
Scene 2: Lakshmi’s Final Decision
Elsewhere, Lakshmi is standing at the edge of a steep mountain, her mind overwhelmed by Rishi’s betrayal and his confession. Her thoughts spiral out of control as memories of happier days with Rishi flash in front of her eyes. She recalls the love she once believed was real, only to be shattered by his actions. The pain becomes unbearable, and in a moment of sheer despair, she steps forward and jumps.
As she falls toward a deep cave below, a small voice shouts in horror from behind her. “No!” The little girl, who had earlier seen Lakshmi on the road, stands at the top of the mountain, her hands trembling. The old woman, who had been with the girl, closes her eyes in disbelief, unable to watch the tragic event unfold. Shalu, frustrated, asks him, “Why can’t you feel the pain you’ve caused her? All she ever wanted was your love and trust. Yet, you shattered her heart into a million pieces.” Rishi’s eyes are filled with tears as he listens to Shalu’s angry words. Before he can respond, his phone rings, and it’s Malishka on the other end. She sounds anxious and worried. “Rishi, the police came by the house. They said they found a body on Hill Road, and they want us to come and identify it.”
The blood drains from Rishi’s face as he listens. His entire body trembles in shock. The news hits him like a thunderclap. He collapses to his knees, unable to process what he’s just heard. Shalu is shocked by Rishi’s reaction and demands, “What’s wrong? What happened?” Rishi, barely able to speak, manages to say, “The police… they found a body. They want us to identify it.” His voice is barely a whisper as he struggles to hold back tears.
Scene 4: Shalu’s Pain
Shalu, now in a panic, receives a call from Rano. “Do you have any news about Lakshmi?” Rano’s voice trembles with concern. Struggling to hold back her own tears, Shalu breaks the devastating news. “The police… they’ve found a body on Hill Road. They think it’s Lakshmi.” Rano is horrified by the news. “No! It can’t be her!” she cries out, completely in shock. Ayush, who overhears Shalu’s conversation, comes rushing in. He demands to know what happened. “What do you mean, the police found a body? Where’s Lakshmi?” he asks, his voice filled with anger and fear. Shalu, trying to calm him, says, “I don’t know. The police think it might be Lakshmi, but we need to confirm it.”
Ayush turns to Rishi, who is still broken and silent, and urges him to pull himself together. “What’s wrong with you, Rishi? You’re the reason she’s in this state!” he accuses, his eyes filled with fury. “If the body turns out to be Lakshmi’s, I swear I will never forgive you.” His words are sharp, but they cut deep, and Rishi looks away, unable to meet Ayush’s gaze.
Scene 5: Malishka and Kiran’s Conversation
Meanwhile, Malishka is on the phone with Kiran. The conversation takes a turn as Kiran shares that she has told Abhay the truth about her pregnancy with Balwinder. Malishka, furious, asks, “Why would you tell him that? You shouldn’t have!” Kiran, not wanting to continue the argument, tries to change the subject. “Anyway, everything is under control. We don’t have to worry about it.”
Kiran then asks, “Did Lakshmi cause any trouble?” Malishka smirks and replies, “The police found a corpse, and I think it’s Lakshmi. If it is, then our problems will be solved once and for all.” Kiran breathes a sigh of relief. “If it’s true, then everything will be fine,” she says, trying to convince herself. Before hanging up, Kiran tells Malishka, “Karishma is calling you.”
Scene 6: Neelam’s Shock
At home, Neelam is anxiously pacing around, wondering what’s happening with Rishi and the police. Karishma enters, and Neelam asks, “What’s going on? Do you know anything?” Karishma, with a grave look, tells her, “The police found a body on Hill Road. They’re saying it could be Lakshmi. Malishka is on her way to the station to identify it.” Neelam’s world crashes around her as she hears the words. She falls into a chair, her hands trembling. “No, it can’t be true,” she mutters, unable to process the possibility that Lakshmi might be dead. At the police station, Rano, Ayush, Shalu, Malishka, and Rishi arrive. The tension in the room is unbearable as the police prepare to reveal the body. Everyone is silent, their hearts heavy with fear and uncertainty. Rishi, still devastated, pleads, “It can’t be her. It just can’t be!” His voice breaks with emotion. He tries to stop the constable, but the officer simply shakes his head, asking Rishi to be strong. The police uncover the body, and everyone gasps in horror. The scene leaves them all frozen in shock.
