August Krogh (15 November 1874 โ€“ 13 September 1949) was a Danish professor. In 1920, August Krogh was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. August Krogh was born on 15 November 1874, in Grenaa, Denmark. He studied medicine at the University of Copenhagen, where he received his medical degree in 1899.
