7 July: World Chocolate Day
On World Chocolate Day, on July 7, we would like to invite you to take a bite, no matter what your flavor preference is. Some people prefer it dark and bitter, while others prefer it smooth and sweet. A cacao bean is the source of that unmistakably rich taste that we know and love so well. Cacao beans are indigenous to Mexico, South- and Central America, but they have been transplanted to the U.S. and some European countries to meet the high consumer demand for this incredible delicacy. It’s the chocolate that always hits the spot, regardless of whether you use it as a coating for other candies and nuts, melted over fruit, or shaved over a gourmet dessert. Every day, more than 1 billion people from all over the world eat chocolate around the world. As well as having a great taste, it has a lot of health benefits as well. In spite of the fact that chocolates are widely recognized as fattening, if they are consumed moderately, they can also aid weight loss and help maintain weight. In addition, it is Valentine’s Week and chocolate is considered to be a food of love.

World Chocolate Day: History
In 2009, World Chocolate Day was established to commemorate the day that chocolate made its first appearance in Europe in 1550. Candy stores and local suppliers all over the world put on sale their most popular merchandise on this day so that young and old can enjoy a taste.
Theobroma cacao trees produce chocolate seeds. Since at least three millennia, cacao has been cultivated in Mexico, Central America, and Northern South America. Africa, however, holds 70% of the world’s cacao trees.ย The use of cacao seeds dates back to around 1100 BC. Tree seeds have a bitter taste that must be fermented to develop flavor.
Two of the most important products of cocoa liquor paste are chocolate and cocoa butter. In grocery stores, cocoa powder can be purchased so that we can bake our favorite roasted taste into our cakes and cookies, while cocoa butter can be used to make chocolate bars.
On World Chocolate Day 2022, let’s show some love to all the Indian brands that create delicious and creamy bars of chocolate!
