PIB Launches a Media Facilitation Portal for Information on General Election 2024
Press Information Bureau has started a microsite https://pib.gov.in/elect2024/index.aspx having several features as one stop facilitation portal for mediapersons reporting for General Election 2024. The portal has following characteristics.
- A Digital Flip Book: This encompasses various interesting analytics and data rich features. The media persons can utilize this information for writing their articles.
- Useful links are provided through which the journalists can navigate to relevant parts of ECI website.
- Various infographics are provided as a reference and easy to grasp data.
- Schedules for different phases of GE 2024 are provided as ready reckoner.
- Update about ECI notifications are uploaded on real time basis.
- Information about the national and State level ECI officers including is given for easy approach.
- An ECI compendium of instructions including media guide is made readily available.
- The media persons will be kept apprised of latest happenings.
