National Anubhav Awards and PRC Workshop Set for August 2026

The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, is set to host the 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony along with the 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling (PRC) Workshop on August 17, 2026. This significant event will take place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, with Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, presiding over the proceedings.

The ‘Anubhav’ platform serves as a stage for retiring and retired Central Government employees as well as those from 12 Public Sector Banks and Central Public Sector Enterprises to share their valuable experiences accumulated throughout their years of service in the government.

At this year’s National Anubhav Awards, 15 distinguished individuals will be honored for their exceptional contributions to nation-building. Their efforts have been instrumental in various key government initiatives including the Passport Seva Kendra project, the repeal of outdated regulations in favor of modernized rules, advancements in technological administration and accounting, and measures aimed at energy conservation.

The awards will be presented by Dr. Jitendra Singh during the 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony, recognizing the significant impact these individuals have had on the nation.

Fostering Awareness for Retiring Employees

The 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop aims to provide essential information to Government of India employees nearing retirement, particularly those based in the National Capital Region (NCR). The workshop will cover key processes necessary for the timely disbursement of retirement benefits.

In addition to the workshop, attendees can look forward to the launch of the Handbook on Pension Mitra and the Guidelines for the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5. These resources are intended to assist retirees in navigating the often-complex retirement processes with greater ease.

Exhibition Showcasing Pension Services

Part of the event will feature a Bank Exhibition, where 17 Pension Disbursing Banks will present their products and services. This exhibition is designed to inform retiring employees about the various financial solutions available to them as they transition into retirement.
