The prestigious event will commence at 3:00 PM at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, located within the Parliament Library Building in New Delhi. This much-anticipated occasion will honor the outstanding performances of participating students and their respective schools.

Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice, will preside over the award ceremony. Notably, the students from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya, located in President Estate, New Delhi, will showcase a special performance of their Youth Parliament Sitting, having emerged as the top team in this year’s competition.

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has organized these competitive events for an impressive 38 years, fostering a spirit of democratic engagement among youth. The 36th National Youth Parliament Competition took place during the 2025-26 academic year, involving over 200 schools across 25 regions under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The initiative seeks to instill essential democratic values such as self-discipline, respect for differing opinions, and the articulate expression of ideas.

One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Running Parliamentary Shield” and the trophy awarded to Dr. Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya for their national-level victory. Additionally, regional winners will be recognized, with trophies presented to four Kendriya Vidyalayas that ranked first at the zonal level:
