November 2025 Sees Surge in Public Grievances Resolved
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has unveiled its 40th monthly report on the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) for November 2025. This report gives valuable insights into the types and categories of public grievances filed, along with how effectively these issues have been addressed by various states and union territories (UTs).
In November 2025, a total of 60,450 public grievances were recorded across States and UTs, while an impressive 70,598 cases were resolved. Uttar Pradesh topped the list for grievance redressals, successfully addressing 25,184 cases, followed by Delhi with 7,989 resolutions. However, the total backlog of public grievances remained concerning, with 165,930 cases pending as of November 30, 2025, indicating that 23 States and UTs had over 1,000 unresolved grievances each.
Significant User Engagement on CPGRAMS
According to the report, November saw 57,180 new users registering on the CPGRAMS platform through various channels, with Uttar Pradesh contributing 8,739 of these registrations. Additionally, the Feedback Call Centre garnered 70,141 feedback submissions during the month, showing 28,669 feedbacks collected from multiple States and UTs.
Grievance Registration Through Common Service Centres
The report also outlines how the integration of CPGRAMS with Common Service Centres (CSCs) is facilitating grievance registration. In November, 14,094 grievances were logged through over 500,000 CSCs, in partnership with 250,000 Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). Furthermore, the report highlights training initiatives conducted under the Sevottam Scheme over the last four financial years. From FY 2022-23 to FY 2025-26, a total of 984 training programs were conducted, training around 32,939 officers to enhance their capacity in addressing public grievances.
Key Highlights and Improving the Grievance Redressal System
Significant enhancements have been made in the public grievance system, including the launch of a dedicated Review Module on June 6, 2025, aimed at improving the senior-level review processes of unresolved cases in States and UTs. Moreover, a monthly review meeting headed by the Secretary of DARPG occurred on November 12, 2025, indicating ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency of grievance redressal.
The report shows a positive trend in the disposal of public grievances, with resolutions rising from 63,305 in October to 70,598 in November 2025, reflecting a commitment to addressing citizen concerns more effectively. The government continues to explore innovative solutions to further streamline the grievance redressal mechanism for better governance.
