Scene 1: Mysterious Past and Hidden Discoveries
Barkha attempted to start a conversation with Karthik, but he seemed completely unresponsive to her efforts. “Are you even listening to what I’m saying?” she asked him with frustration. “I’ve been trying to talk to you for several minutes now.” Karthik acknowledged that he could hear her but explained his current condition. “I am listening to you, but I have a terrible headache right now,” he replied wearily. “I need some time alone to rest.” With that explanation, he walked away from her, leaving Barkha alone with her thoughts. Despite his dismissive behavior, Barkha found herself thinking positive thoughts about Karthik. “He is really such a sweet person,” she thought to herself. “Maybe if I do something nice for him, it will improve his mood and make him feel better.” Deciding to help him in a practical way, she went to his room and began arranging his clothes neatly in the wardrobe. While organizing his belongings, she discovered something unexpected hidden among his personal items.
“What is this torn photograph doing here?” she wondered as she picked up the damaged picture. When she examined it more closely, she saw that it showed Karthik dressed as a groom in wedding attire. This discovery immediately triggered her imagination about his past relationships. “This must mean that Karthik was married before,” she concluded to herself. “His wife probably left him for some reason, and that’s why he remains so sad all the time and unable to move on with his life.” The more she thought about this possibility, the more determined she became to learn the truth. “I need to find out exactly who Karthik’s ex-wife is,” she decided firmly. “Understanding his past will help me know how to help him heal from his pain.” At that moment, she heard footsteps and realized that Karthik was coming out of the washroom.
Not wanting to be caught snooping through his personal belongings, she quickly hid the torn photograph under her feet. “What are you doing in my room?” Karthik asked when he saw her standing there. Barkha tried to act casual and innocent. “Oh, it’s nothing important,” she replied. “I was just tidying up a few things to help you feel more comfortable.”
Scene 2: The Bangle Swap and False Accusations
In another part of the house, Lakshmi was carefully putting away the beautiful bangles that Dadi had given her as a gift. She placed them gently into the bangle box and stored it safely in her cupboard before going to the washroom to freshen up. However, Bhavani had been waiting for exactly this kind of opportunity to execute her revenge plan against Lakshmi. As soon as Lakshmi left the room, Bhavani quietly sneaked inside with malicious intentions. “This is the perfect chance to teach Lakshmi a lesson for humiliating Vyom,” she thought to herself as she approached the cupboard. She carefully removed Lakshmi’s bangle box and replaced it with an identical box that contained cash and receipts instead of the valuable jewelry. “Lakshmi will regret the day she crossed our family,” Bhavani vowed silently as she completed the swap and quickly left the room.
Later, when it was time for the family meal, Lakshmi dutifully served food to Dadi, Bhavani, and Barkha as she always did. Bhavani saw this as another opportunity to further her scheme against Lakshmi. “Can you please serve me personally?” she requested sweetly, acting as if she needed special attention. When Lakshmi approached to serve her, Bhavani deliberately spilled food on herself and then acted as if it was an accident. “Oh no, I’m so sorry about this mess,” she said with fake concern. “Let me help clean this up immediately.” She used this manufactured crisis as an excuse to get close to Lakshmi’s bangles, secretly applying a special liquid to them that would make them appear different.
After completing this sabotage, Bhavani pretended to notice something unusual about Lakshmi’s jewelry. “Wait a minute, something looks strange about these bangles,” she said with feigned surprise. “They look like silver instead of the gold that Dadi gave you.” She then made a shocking accusation that stunned everyone present. “I think Lakshmi has sold the original gold bangles and replaced them with cheap fake ones,” she declared loudly. “This is theft and deception of the worst kind.” Dadi was horrified by this accusation and refused to believe it could be true. “I don’t believe Lakshmi would do such a thing,” she said firmly. “But let’s check where she kept the bangles to clear up this misunderstanding.”
Scene 3: Evidence and Ultimatums
The entire family gathered in Lakshmi’s room to investigate Bhavani’s serious accusations. Lakshmi confidently showed them the bangle box, believing it would prove her innocence. However, Bhavani had prepared for this moment and immediately went to check the drawer. “Look what I found hidden here,” she announced triumphantly as she pulled out the cash and receipts she had planted earlier. “This is clearly the money she received from selling the original bangles, and here are the receipts proving she bought fake replacements.” She then renewed her accusations against Lakshmi with even more force. “This evidence proves that Lakshmi is a thief who has betrayed Dadi’s trust,” she declared.
“She should be thrown out of this house immediately for her dishonesty.” Despite the apparently damning evidence, Lakshmi maintained her innocence with desperate sincerity. “I swear I have done nothing wrong,” she insisted. “I would never steal from Dadi or betray her kindness toward me.” Dadi listened to both sides and then made her decision based on her personal judgment of Lakshmi’s character. “I can read people’s true nature by looking into their eyes,” she said wisely. “And when I look at Lakshmi, I see honesty and integrity, not deception.” She then offered Lakshmi a chance to clear her name. “I still trust you, but you need to prove your innocence to everyone else,” she told Lakshmi.
“I will give you time to find evidence that shows you are telling the truth.” Bhavani was not satisfied with this lenient approach and decided to create additional pressure. “If Lakshmi fails to prove her innocence by tonight, she must leave this house forever,” she warned. “There should be serious consequences for theft and betrayal.” Lakshmi accepted this ultimatum with determination. “I agree to your terms,” she said confidently. “I will prove my innocence before tonight because I know I have done nothing wrong.”
Scene 4: Investigation and Growing Suspicions
Later, while Lakshmi was cooking in the kitchen, Karan arrived and created another confrontation by deliberately pouring milk on her. “Why did you agree to such a ridiculous condition?” he demanded angrily. “You’re putting yourself in an impossible situation for no good reason.” He then reminded her of his authority over her presence in the house. “Don’t forget that I was the one who brought you to this house,” he said arrogantly. “And you will only leave when I give you permission to go, not because of some ultimatum from Bhavani.” Lakshmi had had enough of his disrespectful behavior and decided to teach him a lesson. She grabbed a handful of flour and threw it directly at his face.
“This will teach you to treat me with respect,” she said defiantly. Karan was shocked by her bold response but made crude comments as he wiped the flour from his face using the edge of her saree, showing his continued disrespect for her boundaries. Meanwhile, Barkha was determined to learn more about Karthik’s mysterious past and began her investigation. She spent time searching online for any information about Karthik’s previous relationships but found absolutely nothing useful. Frustrated by the lack of results, she decided to seek professional help. She called her manager Ashish and gave him an urgent assignment. “I need you to find out everything you can about Karthik’s ex-wife,” she instructed him.
“This information is extremely important to me, so please find it at any cost.” She believed that understanding Karthik’s romantic history was essential for building a closer relationship with him. “I must know about his past if I want to grow closer to him and help him heal,” she reasoned to herself. While cleaning her saree from the earlier incident with Karan, Lakshmi noticed something important in the room that caught her attention. “Why is there a pain-relief patch here?” she wondered, picking up the medical item and examining it carefully.
At the same time, Karthik received an unexpected phone call from his friend in Delhi that brought disturbing news. “I wanted to warn you that someone named Ashish has been asking questions about your past,” his friend informed him. “He seems very determined to dig up information about your previous relationships.” This news made Karthik extremely worried about the potential consequences. “If Barkha finds out about Lakshmi, it could create serious problems for everyone involved,” he thought anxiously. Determined to prove her innocence, Lakshmi contacted JJ Jewellers and made an important request. “I need to see your CCTV footage from recent days,” she explained. “Someone has framed me for theft, and your security cameras might have recorded the person who bought fake bangles.”
Meanwhile, Bhavani accidentally spilled coffee on herself, creating a minor crisis. As Lakshmi left to pursue her investigation, Bhavani became increasingly anxious about the possibility of being exposed. “I was the one who ordered those fake bangles,” she thought nervously. “If Lakshmi finds that evidence, I’ll be in serious trouble.” Realizing the danger of discovery, she decided she needed to take immediate action to protect herself. As the pieces of the puzzle began falling into place, Lakshmi recalled an important memory. “I remember seeing Bhavani instructing the nurse to apply a pain-relief patch on her shoulder,” she realized. “That explains why there’s a patch in this room, and it proves that Bhavani was the one who swapped the bangles.”
