Xiaomi has officially launched its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in global markets, just ahead of the highly anticipated Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. This new device was first unveiled in China on February 27, following the introduction of the standard and Pro models in October 2024. The Xiaomi 15 series boasts cutting-edge technology, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and impressive RAM options, setting a new standard for high-performance smartphones.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is priced starting at EUR 1,499 (approximately Rs. 1,36,100) for the base model, which includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The standard Xiaomi 15 model is available for EUR 999 (around Rs. 90,700) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. While Xiaomi has not yet disclosed specific availability dates for regions such as India, it is expected to provide further details soon.
In addition to competitive pricing, Xiaomi is offering customers added value with its warranty services. Buyers will receive one out-of-warranty repair at no labor cost within the first year of purchase. Furthermore, the company is providing a complimentary screen replacement within the first six months, enhancing customer satisfaction and trust in their products.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a dual SIM (Nano+Nano) configuration and operates on Android 15, enhanced by Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 skin. Powered by Qualcomm’s advanced 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, making it a powerhouse for multitasking and gaming.

For selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera is included.
Storage options reach up to 512GB with UFS 4.1 technology, and the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a robust 5,410mAh silicon carbon battery, supporting 90W fast charging and 80W wireless charging. Its chassis is crafted from aerospace-grade glass fiber, and it boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The standard Xiaomi 15 model shares the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as the Ultra version and also offers up to 16GB of RAM. It features a slightly smaller 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,200 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth performance.
Similar to its flagship counterpart, the Xiaomi 15 is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. It also includes a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, along with the same 32-megapixel selfie camera found in the Ultra model. Storage options for the Xiaomi 15 can reach up to 1TB with UFS 4.0 technology.
Connectivity features are nearly identical to those of the Ultra model, with the exception of Bluetooth 5.4, while the Xiaomi 15 is powered by a slightly smaller 5,240mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
