Smita Vats Sharma, Director General of PIB West Zone, highlighted the Indian media and entertainment sector’s current valuation of USD 2.96 trillion, projecting a potential market size of $50 billion by 2029. The WAVES initiative aims to empower global leaders in media and entertainment by providing exclusive investment opportunities and fostering innovation. The summit will cover four key verticals: Broadcasting & Infotainment, AVGC-XR, Digital Media & Innovation, and Films, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of the industry.

The WAVES Summit boasts an impressive advisory board featuring prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan.
