Upcoming Apple Product Launches on the Horizon

Apple is poised to expand its product lineup significantly, venturing into new categories that could reshape its ecosystem. Reports indicate that the tech giant is preparing to launch four innovative products, including a smart home hub, a smart doorbell, a foldable iPhone, and its first augmented reality glasses, starting as early as 2026. This strategic move marks a potential shift in Apple’s approach to product development, aiming to deepen its integration of hardware and services.

Smart Home Hub

One of the most anticipated products is Apple’s smart home hub, often referred to as “HomePad” in various reports. This device is expected to merge the functionalities of a HomePod and an iPad, providing users with a versatile tool for managing their smart home environments. The launch of the HomePad has reportedly been delayed due to modifications related to Siri, Apple’s voice assistant. However, with an updated version of Siri anticipated later this year, the smart home hub could finally make its debut. Sources suggest that the device may feature a 6-inch or 7-inch display and operate on Apple’s A18 chip. Users will be able to manage smart devices, play media, make video calls, and perform daily tasks through both voice commands and touch interactions.

Smart Doorbell

In addition to the smart home hub, Apple is reportedly developing a smart doorbell designed to integrate seamlessly with its existing home setup and security framework. This innovative device is expected to support hands-free door unlocking using ultra-wideband technology, enhancing convenience for users. Furthermore, it will utilize Apple’s Secure Enclave system to ensure that sensitive data remains protected. While specific details about the doorbell are still limited, it is anticipated to launch alongside future updates for Apple TV and HomePod, further solidifying Apple’s presence in the smart home market.

Foldable iPhone

Apple is also preparing to enter the foldable smartphone market, with plans to introduce its first foldable iPhone in 2026. After years of speculation, leaks suggest that this device will feature a smaller outer screen and a larger inner display that unfolds. Additionally, there are indications that Apple may reintroduce Touch ID for this model, enhancing security and user convenience. Pricing for the foldable iPhone is expected to be higher than that of standard iPhone models, raising questions about its positioning within Apple’s existing product lineup.

Augmented Reality Glasses

Lastly, Apple is actively working on augmented reality glasses, with early versions expected to focus on audio capabilities, cameras, and voice control rather than full in-lens displays. These glasses may serve as a preliminary step toward more advanced augmented reality products in the future. Sales of these glasses could potentially begin in 2027, marking another significant addition to Apple’s expanding portfolio. If these plans materialize, the upcoming years could represent one of the most dynamic phases of expansion for Apple in over a decade.
