Notable enhancements include a multi-mode traction control system and the innovative โ€˜Magic Twistโ€™ regenerative braking, which are now standard across all models. Additionally, these scooters offer improved range compared to their predecessors, making them more appealing to eco-conscious consumers.

2025 Ather 450 Series Price in India

The pricing for the 2025 Ather 450 series begins at Rs. 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) for the Ather 450S model. The Ather 450X is available with two battery pack options: a 2.9kWh variant priced at Rs. 1,46,999 and a more powerful 3.7kWh option at Rs. 1,56,999. For those looking for the top-tier experience, the Ather 450 Apex is now priced at Rs. 1,99,999 (ex-showroom).

When purchasing any of these electric scooters, buyers have the option to add a Pro pack. This additional feature package ranges from Rs. 14,001 to Rs. 20,000, depending on the chosen model. The Pro pack enhances the overall riding experience, making it a worthwhile investment for many customers. The price adjustments reflect the advanced technology and features integrated into these models, positioning Ather as a competitive player in the electric scooter market.

2025 Ather 450 Series Specifications

The 2025 Ather 450 series introduces a new multi-mode traction control system, which is a significant upgrade. This system offers three distinct modes: rain, rally, and road. The rain mode is designed to limit acceleration, ensuring a safer ride in wet conditions. The rally mode provides subtle adjustments, allowing riders to navigate rough or uneven terrains with ease. Meanwhile, the road mode strikes a balance, offering both fast acceleration and safety for daily commuting.

Another exciting feature is the Magic Twist regenerative braking system. This innovation allows riders to control the scooter using a single throttle. While acceleration remains unchanged, deceleration can be achieved by throttling backward. This action not only slows the scooter down but also activates regenerative braking, which helps recharge the battery.

For those who opt for the Pro pack, the new Ather Stack is included. This advanced system offers six functions, such as WhatsApp on Dash, Share Live Location, and Alexa Skills. Additionally, Ather has introduced two new color options: Stealth Blue and Hyper Sand. These enhancements make the 2025 Ather 450 series not only more functional but also more stylish.

Range and Charging Improvements

Ather has made significant strides in improving the range and charging times for its 2025 450 series. The Ather 450S boasts a maximum Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 122 kilometers, with a charging time of 5 hours and 30 minutes to reach 80 percent. The standard Ather 450X offers a slightly better IDC range of 126 kilometers, with a quicker charging time of just 3 hours. For those who choose the 3.7kWh model, the range extends to an impressive 161 kilometers, although the charging time increases to 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The flagship model, the Ather 450 Apex, claims an IDC range of 157 kilometers, with a full charging time of 5 hours and 45 minutes. These improvements in range and charging efficiency are crucial for electric scooter users, as they enhance the practicality of using electric vehicles for daily commutes. Ather’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in these upgrades, making the 2025 Ather 450 series a compelling choice for environmentally conscious riders.
