Girija Kumar Mathur was born on 22 August 1919, in Ashoknagar. Kishore completed his education in Kanpur and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from DAV College, Kanpur. He showed an early interest in literature and began writing during his college years.
After completing his education, Kishore embarked on a career in writing and journalism. He worked with various Hindi newspapers and magazines, honing his skills as a writer. His literary works encompassed a wide range of genres including novels, short stories, essays, and poetry. Kishore’s writing style was marked by its simplicity yet profoundness, often addressing social issues and human emotions with sensitivity and insight.
