The Ministry of Youth and Sports will host a congratulatory ceremony for the winners of the State Rounds of the 2nd Fit India Quiz on 23 July 2023 at the BKC in Bandra, Mumbai. The ceremony will be honored by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sport Shri Anurag Thakur.
The state level winners of Fit India Quiz 2022 will be congratulated at the ceremony on Sunday. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded. The Fit India Quiz is part of the Fit India movement which was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2019. The movement aims to make India a fitter and healthier nation.
Fit India Quiz 2022 is India’s largest sports and fitness quiz with prize money of ₹3.25 crore for school and students. The second edition of Fit India National Fitness and Sports Quiz for Schools was launched on 29 August last year, on the eve of National Sports Day, by Union Minister, Youth Affairs & Sports & Information & Broadcasting Shri Anurag Singh Thakur & State Minister, Youth Affairs & Sports & Home Affairs Ministry, Shri Nisith Pramanik, in the presence of Union Minister for Education, Skills Development & Entrepreneurship toriality, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. The quiz covers a wide range of topics relating to India’s rich sports, fitness and nutrition history.
