Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah and Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Steel Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia reviewed the facilities and infrastructure for major airports. The meeting aimed to address the requirements arising from the rapid growth of domestic and international air mobility in the country.
The meeting provided guidance on developing and delivering standards for a fast, safe and convenient travel experience for travellers. The Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and other agencies have taken a number of steps towards expanding and improving facilities and infrastructure at major airports.
The Union Home Minister and other senior officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, IB, Bureau of Immigration (BOI), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Airport Authority of India ( AAI) attended the meeting.
