The Ministry of Health, under the direction of Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, has deployed several medical teams in Manipur with immediate effect.
Six medical teams, with four doctors each specializing in surgery, psychiatry, medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, urology and emergency care will support the state to provide health care facilities, which have been adversely affected due to the ongoing conflict in the state.
The teams consist of doctors from AIIMS Kalyani, AIIMS Guwahati and NEIGRIMS Shillong.
