Under Rozgar Mela, PM to distribute more than 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Government departments and organisations on 22nd July

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute more than 70,000 nomination letters to new recruits via video conference on 22 July 2023 at 10.30am. The Prime Minister will also address these appointees on the occasion.

The Rozgar Mela will be held in 44 locations across the country. Recruitment is ongoing between central government departments and state/UT governments who support this initiative. The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join the government in various ministries/departments including the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of higher education, the ministry of defence, the ministry of health and family, central public sector enterprises, the department of water resources, the department of personnel and training, and the ministry of internal affairs, among others.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s pledge to give top priority to job creation. The Rozgar Mela should act as a catalyst for further generation of employment and provide significant opportunities for young people for their empowerment and participation in national development.

The new appointees also have the opportunity to train through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online form on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 580 e-learning courses have been made available for the “anywhere on any device” learning format.
