Scene 1: Tejash’s Persistent Questions
Tejash approaches Roshni and begins asking her about her father’s fight details. “Tell me more about your father,” he insists, his curiosity evident. Roshni grows nervous, unsure of how to respond. She tries to change the subject. “Why are you so interested in my father?” she asks, attempting to deflect his questions. Tejash doesn’t let it go. “I just want to know,” he replies, pressing further. Roshni struggles to keep her composure as Tejash continues to probe her.
Scene 2: The Rituals Begin
As the rituals start, Renuka takes charge since Roshni’s father is absent. Riya stands beside Roshni as the ceremony proceeds. Riya’s parents whisper among themselves, mocking the family’s mysterious elder daughter-in-law. Their comments are subtle but filled with sarcasm. Tejash expresses his disappointment. “I missed the chance to participate in the rituals earlier,” he says aloud, drawing attention to himself. Renuka glances at Roshni repeatedly, her expression questioning. She seems unhappy with Roshni’s inability to provide answers about her father. Everyone gathers around to bless the couple, but the tension lingers in the air.
Scene 3: Renuka’s Disappointment
Renuka pulls Tejash aside and speaks to him privately. “Riya’s parents are putting local jewelry on them now, but once Roshni’s father arrives, he will bring imported jewelry,” she says confidently. Tejash nods, though he seems skeptical. Meanwhile, Tejash places a floral garland around Roshni’s neck as part of the ritual. Roshni feels overwhelmed, unsure of what to do about her father’s absence. Her mind races with thoughts of the consequences. The man pours a glass of alcohol and insists that Sachin drink it. “Come on, have a sip,” he urges. Sachin hesitates but ultimately refuses. He keeps his promise not to drink alcohol, even under pressure. Meanwhile, Joy intentionally hurts Paresh in front of all the guests. Paresh feels deeply insulted but chooses to remain silent, not wanting to cause a scene.
Scene 5: Sayali Notices Sachin
Suddenly, Paresh realizes that Sachin is missing. He looks around, wondering where Sachin has gone. At the same time, Roshni feels increasingly tense, thinking about the repercussions of her father’s absence. Sayali also notices Sachin’s disappearance. When she steps outside, she sees Sachin with the alcoholic man. At first, Sayali is surprised, but upon closer inspection, she realizes that Sachin is not drinking. She feels proud of him for keeping his promise but pretends to be angry.
Scene 6: Sachin Returns Inside
Sayali brings Sachin back inside and scolds him lightly. “Why were you roaming outside?” she asks. Paresh joins in, questioning Sachin as well. “Why were you wandering around? You should have stayed here,” he says. Sachin learns that Roshni’s father has still not arrived. He is shocked by the news and looks at Roshni with concern. Renuka becomes furious, confronting Roshni again. “Where is your father? You’ve made us lose face because of your carelessness!” she accuses. Roshni feels cornered and remains silent, unable to defend herself.
Scene 7: Paresh Intervenes
Seeing Renuka’s anger, Paresh steps in to calm the situation. “Please, calm down,” he says to Renuka. Renuka looks at Paresh, still upset. “How can I stay calm when this is happening?” she replies. Paresh tries to reason with her. “There’s no point in getting angry now. Let’s focus on the rituals and figure things out later,” he suggests. Renuka reluctantly agrees, though her frustration is still evident.
