Life and Career
Kailash Vajpeyi was born on 11 November 1936, in Hamirpur.
Vajpeyi pursued his education with a strong focus on literature and language. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Hindi literature from Allahabad University, followed by a master’s degree in the same subject. His academic pursuits provided him with a solid foundation in Hindi literature, which he later built upon through his extensive research and writing.
Kailash Vajpeyi’s career was marked by his prolific writing, insightful literary criticism, and active involvement in cultural movements.
