Tesla Launches First Experience Center in New Delhi’s Aerocity with Four V4 Superchargers

Tesla has officially opened its first Experience Centre in Delhi, marking a significant milestone for the electric vehicle manufacturer in India. Located in Aerocity, the new facility not only showcases Tesla’s innovative vehicles but also features Superchargers for on-site charging. This centre is the second showroom for Tesla in India, following the recent launch of its first outlet in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
Details of the New Experience Centre
The Tesla Experience Centre in Delhi is situated within the Worldmark 3 commercial building in Aerocity. Spanning approximately 8,200 square feet, the showroom serves as an interactive hub for potential customers to explore Tesla vehicles and their advanced features before making a purchase. The location is strategically chosen, being in a vibrant commercial area near the Indira Gandhi International Airport and several embassies, similar to the setup of the Mumbai Experience Centre.
In addition to showcasing vehicles, the centre has installed four V4 Superchargers, allowing Tesla owners to charge their electric vehicles conveniently. This fast-charging network is part of Tesla’s commitment to enhancing the electric vehicle experience for its customers in India.
Expansion Plans in India
During the inauguration, Tesla officials announced plans to expand their service coverage across India. The company aims to introduce various services, including Mobile Service for minor repairs at customers’ homes, remote diagnostics for software issues, and the establishment of official service centres. Furthermore, Tesla plans to collaborate with third-party collision repair centres that are approved by the company.
As part of its expansion strategy, Tesla intends to install three additional Superchargers in the Delhi-NCR region, with one planned for the DLF Horizon Centre. This move is expected to enhance the convenience for Tesla owners and promote the adoption of electric vehicles in the area.
Current Vehicle Offerings and Pricing
At present, Tesla offers only one model in Indiaโthe Tesla Model Y. The starting price for the rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant is set at Rs. 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Long Range RWD model begins at Rs. 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Tesla has announced that deliveries of the Model Y in India are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2025.
