Sudowrite Unveils Innovative Muse AI for Fiction

Los Angeles-based AI startup Sudowrite has launched a groundbreaking fiction-writing AI model named Muse. This new tool, designed specifically for creative writing, aims to eliminate clichรฉs and produce unique prose. Available on the Sudowrite platform, Muse offers users an opportunity to explore its capabilities with free credits for initial use.

Sudowrite Introduces Muse AI Model

In an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Sudowrite’s Founder James Yu revealed the launch of the Muse AI model, which has been in testing for several months. The company collaborated with hundreds of authors during the development phase to ensure high-quality output. Users can explore writing samples generated by Muse on the Sudowrite website.

While generative AI models have made strides in creative writing, they often struggle with producing original content. Common issues include the generation of clichรฉs, repetitive sentence structures, and predictable plotlines. Yu asserts that Muse addresses these challenges by concentrating solely on fiction writing, allowing it to specialize in this area through targeted training. According to the model’s support page, โ€œMuse is the most unfiltered model on Sudowrite, embracing the full range of human experience, including violence and adult themes.โ€

How to Access Muse on Sudowrite

To utilize the Muse AI model, users can visit Sudowrite’s platform, select the Write option, and navigate to Write Settings. Here, they can choose Muse from the Prose Mode dropdown menu. Muse is also set as the default model for Write, Draft, and Expand modes, promising a high level of creativity and adherence to prompts. In addition to Muse, Sudowrite offers various third-party AI models, including Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o, and DeepSeek-R1.

Muse can assist users in generating prose from scratch, rewriting existing drafts in different tones or styles, describing words or phrases in unique ways, and brainstorming plot points and character names. Upon registration, users receive 10,000 free credits to experiment with the platform. Testing by Gadgets 360 revealed that generating a prose piece of 75-100 words consumes 25 credits. After the initial credits are exhausted, users can opt for a subscription starting at $10 (approximately Rs. 870), which includes 225,000 monthly credits. The highest-tier subscription costs $44 (around Rs. 3,830) per month, offering two million monthly credits.
