Sony Launches WF-C710N Earphones with Enhanced Features

Sony has officially unveiled its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, the WF-C710N, in select global markets. These new earbuds come equipped with advanced noise-cancelling technology, including Ambient Sound and Adaptive Sound Control, offering users a more immersive listening experience. With a design reminiscent of the previous WF-C700N model, the WF-C710N boasts an impressive battery life of up to 30 hours, significantly improving upon its predecessor’s 15-hour playback time.

Pricing and Availability of Sony WF-C710N

The Sony WF-C710N earphones are priced at GBP 120 (approximately Rs. 11,100) in the UK and EUR 100 (around Rs. 9,300) in select European markets. In the United States, the earbuds are available for pre-order at $119.99 (approximately Rs. 10,300). Customers can find these earphones on regional Sony e-stores. The WF-C710N comes in four attractive color options: Black, Glass Blue, Pink, and White. The Glass Blue variant features a transparent design, while the other colors offer a soft pastel finish, catering to a variety of aesthetic preferences.

Features and Specifications of the WF-C710N

The WF-C710N earphones are equipped with 5mm drivers and utilize Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology, which enhances audio quality for a balanced and clear sound experience. They also feature Dual Noise Sensor technology, employing two microphones to effectively detect and filter out surrounding noise. The Ambient Sound mode allows users to remain aware of their environment by letting some ambient noise pass through, while the Sound Connect app enables users to customize the ambient sound intensity across 20 levels and adjust EQ settings for a personalized listening experience.

Additionally, the WF-C710N includes a Voice Passthrough setting that disables noise cancellation, allowing all environmental sounds to be heard. The Adaptive Sound Control feature automatically adjusts noise cancellation levels based on ambient sound disturbances. The earphones support AI-backed Precise Voice Pickup technology, ensuring clear call quality. They are compatible with AAC and SBC audio codecs and feature dual-device connectivity with Bluetooth 5.3. Users can control playback and volume through touch controls, and the earbuds are rated IPX4 for splash resistance.

In terms of battery life, the WF-C710N offers up to 30 hours of playback time when used with the charging case, while each earbud can last up to 12 hours on a single charge. The cylindrical charging case, which weighs about 38g, features a USB Type-C port, and each earbud weighs approximately 5.2g, making them lightweight and portable.
