Sonos has officially launched its latest audio products in India, including the Arc Ultra soundbar, Sub 4 subwoofer, and Era 100 Pro speaker. Initially unveiled in the US in October 2024, these devices promise to enhance the audio experience for both home and professional settings. The Arc Ultra features advanced Sound Motion technology and Dolby Atmos support, while the Sub 4 is designed to deliver powerful bass. The Era 100 Pro speaker is tailored for professional installations, making it suitable for both light-commercial and residential environments.

Pricing and Availability in India

The Sonos Arc Ultra and Sub 4 are priced at Rs. 99,999 and Rs. 84,999, respectively. Consumers can purchase these products through the official Sonos website. Additionally, both the soundbar and subwoofer will be featured at the Smart Home Expo in Mumbai from May 8 to May 10, and at the Palm Expo from May 29 to May 31. The Sonos Era 100 Pro speaker will be available exclusively in pairs through select Sonos partners specializing in professional installations, starting today.

Features of the Sonos Arc Ultra and Sub 4

The Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar boasts a sophisticated 9.1.4 audio system, powered by fifteen Class-D digital amplifiers. It includes seven angled silk-dome tweeters, six midwoofers, and a four-motor, dual-membrane woofer. This configuration is designed to provide a cinematic audio experience, enhanced by Dolby Atmos support. The soundbar also features TuePlay, Sound Motion technology, and a Speech Enhancement function, which can be adjusted via the Sonos app. For connectivity, the Arc Ultra supports HDMI eARC and Bluetooth, and can be controlled using a TV remote, the Sonos app, Sonos Voice Control, or Amazon Alexa. A touch control ledge at the back minimizes visual distractions.

The Sub 4 subwoofer is engineered with dual 5×8-inch elliptical woofers that face inward, optimizing bass performance while reducing distortion. It can reproduce frequencies as low as 25Hz and is equipped with 512MB of DDR4 RAM and 4GB of eMMC storage.

The Sonos Era 100 Pro speaker is designed for professional use and is optimized for Power over Ethernet+ (PoE+), ensuring reliable connectivity and seamless integration into existing networks. It features two 6.3-inch high-frequency drivers, a 3.5×4.4-inch low-frequency driver, and three Class-D digital amplifiers. The speaker supports 2GB of DDR4 RAM and 8GB of eMMC storage, along with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and AirPlay 2 connectivity. Sold exclusively in pairs, the Era 100 Pro is compatible with professional-grade mounts, which are available separately and allow for 360-degree rotation and 30-degree pan and tilt adjustments.
