Social Media Sleuths Uncover a Whopping 1,000-Foot UFO in the U.S.!

A photo claiming to show a massive UFO hovering over the Southwest has taken social media by storm. Shared by former Department of Defense employee Luis “Lue” Elizondo, the image has ignited discussions about its authenticity. Social media users quickly jumped in, suggesting that the supposed UFO might just be a pair of crop circles.

The Photo in Question

The viral image was reportedly taken by a commercial airline pilot in 2021 while flying at 21,000 feet near the Four Corners region, where New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado meet. The UAP Disclosure Fund, which shared the photo, described it as a “silver-hued, disc-shaped” object estimated to be between 600 and 1,000 feet in diameter.

Internet Sleuths Weigh In

As soon as the photo hit the internet, users began to investigate. Many pointed out that the image resembled two crop circles, a common sight in desert areas. One user remarked, “This is clearly a crop circle, not a UAP,” emphasizing that mislabeling such phenomena could damage public trust in legitimate UFO disclosures. Others chimed in, noting that agricultural circles are frequently seen from the air.

Elizondo’s Response

After the photo was debunked, Elizondo issued a statement acknowledging the mix-up but stopped short of offering a formal apology. He explained that he had received the photo from a pilot before presenting it at a forum. Elizondo emphasized the importance of having a reporting mechanism for pilots to document potential anomalous sightings, regardless of their nature. This incident isn’t the first time Elizondo has faced scrutiny for his claims about extraterrestrial life, with previous statements also being challenged by the Pentagon. As the debate continues, one thing is clear: the quest for the truth behind UFOs remains as intriguing as ever!
