Shri Vumlunmang Vualnam took charge as Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India, now Deputy Shri Rajiv Bansal following his retirement on 31stst August 2023.
Shri Vualnam is a 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service Officer from Manipur cadre. He has held many important posts in the Union government, including Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Jt. Secretary, M/o Home Affairs and Deputy Secretary, M/o Finance and Corporate Affairs.
He has also held several key positions in the Government of Manipur, including Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare and Director of Transport. He was also an advisor to the executive director of the World Bank.
