Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, tweeted that four lanes had been approved at HAM under the Bharatmala project for the Shahpur bypass to Muktai Nagar section of NH-753L passing through Jalgaon and Burhanpur districts in Madhya Pradesh.
He said the route is geographically located in the Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh and the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. The existing 2-lane carriageway road is a part of NH-753L which starts from the junction with NH-753F near Pahur which connects Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh with Jamner, Bodwad, Muktainagar in Maharashtra. There is a bypass provided at Dapora, Ichhapur and Muktainagar along the project route at the junction with NH-347B near Khandwa.
Traffic from Indore to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) will be diverted through Muktai Nagar after the road is four-laned from Boregaon Buzurg to Muktai Nagar.Tags: Madhya Pradesh, NH-753L, Shri Nitin Gadkari
