The production of Shraddha Kapoor‘s highly anticipated biographical drama, Eetha, has been temporarily halted following an injury the actress sustained during filming. The incident occurred while she was performing a challenging Lavani dance sequence, which is integral to her portrayal of the legendary folk artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar. The injury occurred during an intense dance performance that required Kapoor to execute a series of rapid steps to the fast-paced beats of Lavani music. A source close to the production revealed that the choreography was particularly demanding, featuring a high-tempo composition by the renowned duo Ajay-Atul. Dressed in a vibrant Nauvari saree adorned with heavy jewelry, Kapoor was tasked with performing multiple intricate steps in quick succession. Unfortunately, during one of these steps, she lost her balance and injured her left foot, prompting an immediate halt to the Nashik shooting schedule.

In light of the injury, director Laxman Utekar made the decision to pause the filming. However, Kapoor proposed a plan to utilize the downtime by focusing on close-up scenes. This led the team to relocate to a set in Madh Island, where she filmed emotional sequences for several days.
