Cathay Pacific, for instance, announced a fuel surcharge increase, citing that jet fuel prices have nearly doubled since March due to the ongoing conflict. Other airlines, including Air France-KLM and Air India, have also announced fare adjustments, with Air India indicating that fuel surcharges for certain routes could rise by up to $50. As the situation evolves, travelers are advised to stay informed about potential fare increases and consider booking flights sooner rather than later to secure better prices.
