RHTC Najafgarh Promotes Health Awareness at Bharat Parv 2026
The Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) in Najafgarh made a significant impact at Bharat Parv 2026, contributing through a series of dynamic health awareness and preventive care initiatives. The event, which ran from January 26 to January 31, 2026, at the historic Red Fort Lawns and Gyan Path, drew enthusiastic visitors of all ages as part of the Republic Day celebrations.
Hands-On CPR Demonstrations
One of the standout features of RHTC Najafgarh’s participation was the live demonstrations of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Attendees had the unique opportunity to not only observe but also practice CPR techniques under the instruction of health experts. This initiative aimed to equip the public with vital life-saving skills and strengthen community readiness for medical emergencies.
Ayurvedic Consultations and Health Guidance
In addition to CPR training, the centre offered Ayurvedic consultations led by in-house practitioners. Visitors received personalized guidance on traditional health practices, promoting holistic wellness. Health consultations covered topics such as nutrition, diet, mental health, and overall well-being, highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare and balanced living.
Interactive Health Quizzes
To engage attendees further, RHTC Najafgarh organized daily health quizzes, allowing participants to test their knowledge about health and hygiene while winning exciting prizes. A specially designed “Know Your ASHAs” corner attracted significant interest, shedding light on the essential role played by Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in delivering healthcare services at the grassroots level and thus strengthening the public health system.
Educational Opportunities for Students
As part of its outreach efforts, RHTC Najafgarh facilitated an educational visit for students from the ANM Training School. This experience aimed to introduce students to key government health initiatives and public welfare programs, while also immersing them in the cultural richness showcased at Bharat Parv. Such exposure helped to bridge classroom learning with real-world public health communication and community involvement.
Throughout the six-day festival, RHTC Najafgarh effectively demonstrated its dedication to community health education and preventive care. This commitment aligns with the broader spirit of Bharat Parv, which celebrates India’s focus on people-centric development and inclusive progress.
