Renowned Assamese writer Atulananda Goswami is no more
Sahitya Akademi Award-winning writer Atulananda Goswami, known for his novels and short stories, died at a hospital in Guwahati on 27 July 2022, family sources said. He was 87. Goswami was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences.
