PS Plus Game Catalog Set to Add UFC 5, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and More in March

PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to an exciting lineup of games this March, highlighted by the release of EA’s UFC 5. This latest installment in the MMA series showcases significant enhancements and is the first to utilize EA’s Frostbite engine. Additional titles joining the catalog include action-platformer Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and the retro management sim Arcade Paradise. All new games will be available starting March 18 for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members.

New Titles in the PS Plus Game Catalog

This month, UFC 5 takes center stage in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, offering players an authentic mixed martial arts experience. The game introduces a revamped damage system that realistically portrays blood, sweat, and facial injuries throughout fights. Enhanced fighting mechanics streamline grappling, allowing for quicker submissions and a more fluid gameplay experience.

UFC 5 features both a single-player career mode and an online career mode, where players can create custom fighters and compete in various bouts. This title will be available exclusively on the PS5, ensuring that players can enjoy the latest advancements in graphics and gameplay technology. Joining UFC 5 is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a Metroidvania-style platformer that draws inspiration from classic action games like Dead Cells. Players assume the role of Sargon, who embarks on a quest to rescue a kidnapped prince within the intricate maze of Mount Qaf. The game emphasizes exploration, encouraging players to uncover secrets and tackle challenging boss fights. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be accessible on both PS4 and PS5.

Exploring the World of Syberia

Another notable addition to the Game Catalog is Syberia: The World Before, the fourth installment in the beloved Syberia series developed by Microids. This graphic adventure game intertwines the narratives of two protagonists, Kate and Dana, set across two distinct time periods—1937 and 2004. Set against the backdrop of Eastern Europe, players will engage in interactive exploration, searching for clues and unraveling the story through their environment. Syberia: The World Before will be available on both PS4 and PS5, allowing fans of the series to immerse themselves in its rich storytelling and captivating gameplay mechanics. With its focus on discovery and puzzle-solving, this title promises to engage players as they navigate the challenges faced by its characters.

Classic Titles and VR Additions

In addition to the new game releases, Sony is enhancing the PS Plus Classics Catalog for Deluxe/Premium members by adding three classic titles from the Armored Core series. These include the original Armored Core, Armored Core: Project Phantasma, and Armored Core: Master of Arena. All three games will be available on both PS4 and PS5, allowing fans of the franchise to revisit these iconic titles. Furthermore, PS VR2 owners can look forward to the addition of Arcade Paradise VR this month, expanding the offerings for virtual reality gaming enthusiasts. All new titles will be added to the PlayStation Plus service on March 18, providing subscribers with a diverse range of gaming experiences to enjoy.
