PS Plus Expands Game Catalog with Cyberpunk 2077 and Abiotic Factor
Cyberpunk 2077 has officially joined the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, enhancing the offerings for subscribers this July. The popular RPG from CD Projekt Red is part of a diverse lineup that includes survival games, action RPGs, and management simulations. Alongside Cyberpunk 2077, titles like Abiotic Factor, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and Risk of Rain 2 will also be available, providing gamers with a variety of experiences to enjoy throughout the month.
Exciting Additions to PS Plus Game Catalog
The addition of Cyberpunk 2077 to the PS Plus Game Catalog coincides with the service’s 15th anniversary celebrations. Subscribers can take advantage of a special 30 percent discount on the game’s Phantom Liberty expansion until July 23 on the PlayStation Store. Originally launched in December 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 faced significant challenges at release, but CD Projekt Red has since implemented numerous updates to enhance gameplay and introduce new content. Players step into the shoes of V, a character navigating the treacherous streets of Night City, where choices shape their journey and alliances.
In addition to Cyberpunk 2077, the Game Catalog will see the arrival of Abiotic Factor on July 22. This narrative-driven survival crafting game allows players to collaborate in an underground research facility, working to contain a paranormal outbreak. Abiotic Factor is a day-one launch title for PS Plus, having previously been available in early access on PC since May 2024.
Notable Titles Joining the Lineup
Another highlight of this month’s offerings is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which will also be available on PS Plus. Released last year, this action RPG developed by Don’t Nod places players in the role of ghost hunters investigating supernatural occurrences in a small village. The game features two protagonists, each with unique combat mechanics, allowing players to make impactful choices that influence the story’s outcome.
Additionally, Risk of Rain 2 will join the Game Catalog on July 15. This roguelike third-person shooter challenges players to survive on a hostile alien planet while upgrading their abilities through loot collection. The game supports both solo play and up to four-player online co-op, providing a thrilling experience for fans of the genre.
Management Sims and Classic Games
The PS Plus Game Catalog will also introduce construction and management simulations, including Planet Zoo and Tropico 6, both launching on July 15. In Planet Zoo, players can design and manage their own zoo, featuring various animal species and enclosures. Meanwhile, Tropico 6 allows players to assume the role of the president of a fictional island, overseeing its development and affairs.
In addition to the new titles, Sony will enhance the Classics Catalog by adding Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 on July 15, available exclusively to PS Plus Deluxe and Premium members.
