Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited the Heliopolis Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Cairo on 25 June 2023 during his state visit to Egypt.

The prime minister paid tribute to over 4,300 brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Egypt and Aden during WWI.
